Experts all seem to have great ideas for how to make a new work from home company successful, I just wanted to talk about the ones that have been proven for us.
These are demonstrated success secrets and I write about them frequently. The thing is, it doesn’t help for you to just read them — you actually have to take action:
1. Decide on exactly what you want in life – then write it down. It is important that this be done in detail for all areas of your life – financial, physical, spiritual, relationships, education. Be as specific as you can be and clearly define quantifiable targets.
2. Decide the most important skill you should develop that would move you into the top 10% of at home based business entrepreneurs. Once you’ve decided what that needs to be, devise a plan for how you will get it. Remember, success is a journey not a destination — so when you’ve honed one skill, move quickly to another.
3. Identify one limiting factor that is holding you back from achieving your goals. Examine that limiting factor and figure out a way to eliminate it. Look deep within you for beliefs you might have that will hold you back. Remember, most limitations are self imposed so try not to blame external influencers — its how we think that determines our success.
4. Create a list of things you want to have, do, and be. Write the list in just that order. That way you’ll see the things you want to have, know what you need to do to get them and understand who you need to become to achieve them. My friend, Jim Rohn, used to say, “Set yourself a goal to become a millionaire. Not so much to achieve the goal financially, but because of the kind of person you will become to be a millionaire.”
5. Take 100% responsibility of the outcomes of your life. The true difference between people who are successful and those who are not, is that winners take responsibility for their outcomes — good or bad. Losers tend to blame and make excuses for failures. Allowing external influences to determine your outcomes takes away your personal power to succeed.
6. Visualize your ideal life at all times. Pretend everything you want has come to pass. Appreciate all that you have. Think in terms of a brighter future and it will surely come. There is no doubt.
Ben Stein used to say, “The #1 reason people don’t get what they want, is because they don’t know what they want.”
It’s true — decide what you want for your top home based business, keep your eye on the prize and don’t give up until you achieve it. Success will surely come to you.
